Phoenix Halls is appreciated for its central location, putting guests within a convenient distance of Brighton's attractions - a short walk to The Lanes, around 15 minutes, and roughly 20 minutes to the pier, with bus stops nearby for easy access around the city. Guests find the rooms spacious and the kitchens useful with a fridge, kettle and microwave; the availability of Tianne coffee is a plus for many. Some guests have mentioned that the furniture appears a bit worn. Security is good, and the option to park in the underground garage for a daily fee is available.

the location was pretty central. the single room was comfortable and secure. the little welcome pack with water, tea, coffee, and biscuits was a nice touch, i thought.
The service charge of £3 per night was puzzling as it's made clear that rooms aren't cleaned daily. the wi-fi never worked, despite my email requests. there was no soap provided. I had to buy some myself.
